I was honoured to become a Regional Adviser for the North East in late August 2025. One of my initial priorities was to make contact with the National Lottery Heritage Fund in my region, and I had a meeting with Jodi Larder (NLHF’s Senior Engagement Manager, North) on 4 November 2025. Jodi and I discussed ways we can work together, going forward.
On 21 November 2025 I ran a free “Introduction to oral history” training day at Discovery Museum in Newcastle, for North East Museums staff and volunteers.
I have not received any enquiries yet, but I look forward to supporting individuals and organisations in the North East in 2026 and beyond!
