SCA Annual Conference 2026: Archives & Records at the Heart of Society

Join us for this year’s conference exploring how archives and records underpin democracy, accountability, creativity, wellbeing & community. Inspired by the theme of The National Archives’ new vision document, launched earlier this year, we want to highlight the impact of archives and records across every aspect of society. This year, we’re bringing together voices from across the sector to share how archives and recordkeeping contribute to a more transparent, vibrant and healthier society.

Whether you work in archives, records management, conservation, community archives, research, education, or policy — this conference is for you. The call for papers is currently open. Full programme published: w/b 28th September. Tickets are £45 inclusive of booking fee.
