Oral History Workshop: Interview Analysis

A half-day workshop on oral history interview analysis.
 
The sessions will cover narrative analysis, reconstructive analysis and thematic coding using transcripts. The workshop also includes discussions on adapting analysis techniques for different types of oral history documentation, and how interview analysis can enhance your project outputs.
 
The training programme is accredited by National Life Stories at the British Library and the Oral History Society.
 
This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in finding themes within oral history recordings, conducting oral history research or planning for project outputs.
 
The workshop does not cover oral history interview technique or recording methods. These topics are covered on other courses such as Introduction to Oral History and the Advanced Oral History Workshop.
