Postponed. NOAA Voices: 2,700 life experiences from a changing environment

An online meeting of the OHS’ Environment and Climate Change Special Interest Group

Open to all

Speaker: Molly Graham, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States

Molly Graham, of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the United States, gives an overview of the vital work of NOAA Voices, which provides public access to more than 2,700 oral histories documenting first-hand accounts of changing oceans, coasts, weather, and the environment across the U.S. The collection, built in partnership with researchers, universities, historical societies, and community organizations, preserves knowledge, traditions, and lived experiences that might otherwise be
lost.
